Kingsville

Life in Historic Amherstburg
Kingsville is located along the north shore of Lake Erie. It is a community in the Essex County region. Kingsville has a unique location as the most southern town in Canada and enjoys the warmest climate of any city in Ontario. Our region is located at the same latitude as northern California. The average temperature reaches above 50°F (10°C) 223 days of the year.
Kingsville is home to four estate wineries including Pelee Island Winery as the largest in Canada, which produce a variety of award winning wines from their local vineyards.
Tourism and recreational opportunities abound in Kingsville. Our most popular bird watching opportunities are found at the Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary. Our active trails include the Chrysler Canada Greenway that interconnect with the National Waterfront Trail.  Our marine facilities include the Cedar Island Marina and Yacht Club and host an international working harbour at the Port of Kingsville.
Kingsville Golf & Country Club is a scenic course of championship quality, offering 27 holes inundated with trees, traps, hills, water, and wildlife. The course is made up of three nines named Red, White & Gold, each with its own unique character. Errant shots on at least a dozen holes can find water. Over 100 sand traps enhance competitive golf for all levels of players. Come prepared! For those balls that avoid the rough, the well-groomed fairways will be a delight
