The dedicated craftspeople at Designworks Cabinetry & Finishing have been designing, creating and finishing custom cabinets and trims for over twenty years. Our staff takes great pride in the quality of their work so that you can too. They use only the finest materials and woodworking skills. Cabinetry
While most of the cabinetry we create is designed for use in residential kitchens, we also design and create beautiful pieces for the bath, home office, library, den, laundry and rec room as well as custom fireplace mantles and decorative wood columns.

Designworks is a full-service cabinet and finishing shop. Cabinetmakers take final measurements on-site to ensure the fit is exact and space is utilized effectively. All our cabinets are custom designed so finished cabinets are not restricted to standard sizes…resulting in no unnecessary “fillers.”

Design Centre:

• Cabinet design software allows clients to view their cabinets in realistic, full-colour, 3-dimension
• Wide variety of door styles in solid wood (Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Birch, Elm or Other), or PVC
• Sprayed-on stain or other for impressive finish
• Able to custom match existing or unique finishes
• Custom finishes available (Antiquing, Distressing, Glazing, Crackle-glazing or Painted)
• Lacquered finished for durability
• Solid backs in all cabinets
• Face-frame, Inset-doors or European style cabinets
• Free in-home design consultation

• Clean with a damp cloth using Murphy's Oil Soap as needed or about once a month.
• Polish semi-gloss finishes every six months. Do not polish flat finishes. Always polish in the same direction as the wood grain. A non-silicone furniture polish that is recommended for fine furniture is suggested.
• Promptly remove any liquids spilled on surface using a blotter rather than a wiping motion.
• Mars and scratches may be fixed with crayon or touch-up pencil. Major repairs to damaged surfaces should be performed by a professional refinisher. Check with a Designworks professional for recommendations.
